🦜 The Role
We're looking for a Head of Growth to own how people discover Popcorn and why they stay.
Telco has never had a brand people actually love. That’s about to change. You’ll build and run the growth engine from content, paid, partnerships, mini websites and help take us from millions in ARR to hundreds of millions.
This is not a "manage the funnel" role. It’s about creating the playbook from zero for a hyperscaling AI-first consumer company.
🎪 Your mission
- Own Popcorn's growth strategy end-to-end from acquisition, activation, retention
- Build and execute our content and social presence across Instagram, Reddit, X, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Use AI tools aggressively in your own workflow from ad creative, copy iteration, audience research, analytics
- Source, manage, and scale creator and influencer partnerships by finding people who actually live the expat/nomad/frequent traveler life and can speak to it authentically
- Own our organic discoverability across traditional and AI-powered search (SEO, GEO, and AEO) so Popcorn shows up wherever people are asking for recommendations
- Create content yourself when as needed, you're not above shooting a video or writing a tweet
- Run paid acquisition experiments, optimize spend, and know when to double down or cut
- Build referral, community, and affiliate programs that turn users into evangelists
- Study the data obsessively (CAC, LTV, cohort retention, channel attribution) and let it drive decisions
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to close the loop between growth insights and product improvements
🔍 What we’re looking for
- 3–6+ years in growth, marketing, or demand gen at a product-led consumer company
- You've scaled something be it an audience, a channel or a user base, and can point to the numbers
- Strong content instincts. You know what makes a hook land, why some posts travel and others don't, and you can write copy that sounds like a human
- Comfortable running paid campaigns and reading dashboards, but equally comfortable riffing on a brand idea on a whiteboard
- Builder mentality who would rather ship something imperfect today than plan something perfect next quarter
- Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup where you had to figure it out, not just execute a playbook
- Bonus: you've lived abroad, you've dealt with roaming hell, or you just instinctively get why this product matters
