🦜 The Role

We're looking for a Growth Lead to own how Popcorn scales and build the growth function behind a category defining consumer AI company.

You'll own the ARR target and take us from millions of ARR to hundreds of millions.

You'll set the strategy, run the experiments and build the team that comes next. You'll work directly with Neel (Founder/CEO) with real autonomy and accountability.


🎪 Your mission

  • Own our growth strategy across acquisition, activation and retention
  • Architect the channel mix across paid, organic, social and AI search and decide where to double down
  • Build AI into every layer of the growth function, including generating hundreds of ad variants, testing them programmatically and building personalized landing pages at scale
  • Build and execute our content and social presence across Instagram, Reddit, X, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Source, manage, and scale creator and influencer partnerships by finding people who actually live the expat/nomad/frequent traveler life
  • Own our organic discoverability across traditional and AI-powered search (SEO, GEO, and AEO) so Popcorn shows up wherever people are asking for recommendations
  • Study the data obsessively (CAC, LTV, cohort retention, channel attribution) and let it drive decisions
  • Hire and grow the team behind you as we scale
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to close the loop between growth insights and product improvements


🔍 What we’re looking for

  • Comfortable owning a number and being accountable for it
  • You've run paid at scale or managed the people who do, and know how to make a budget work
  • Strong content instincts: you know what makes a hook land, why some posts travel and others don't
  • 5–8+ years in growth at an early stage, product-led or consumer company, including owning a function or a meaningful channel
  • You've scaled something be it an audience, a channel or a user base, and can point to the numbers
  • You think in systems and models, not just campaigns and are still comfortable in the weeds
  • Builder mentality who would rather ship something imperfect today than plan something perfect next quarter
  • Bonus: you travel frequently, you've dealt with roaming hell, or you just instinctively get why this product matters
